Copper Mountain Shopping

For a medium sized base area, there is a surprisingly good selection of Copper Mountain shops, particularly in the Center Village.

Copper Mountain Ski Shops

Shoppers for ski and snowboard equipment and apparel are well catered for. Center Village has several ski and snowboard shops, East Village has a couple of shops, whilst Union Creek/West Village just has a Copper Sports shop.

In addition to a large Copper Sports shops at Copper One, Center Village has a Surefoot shop for ski boots, and Gravitee, a large snowboard shop with truck loads of boards, boots, bindings, outerwear and accessories.

Christy Sports in the East Village sells skis and snowboards, some backcountry gear, and bits and pieces of clothing and accessories. It’s not a particularly snappy looking shop, but it’s functional.

General Shopping Copper Mountain

Union Creek (West Village) has a small shop that is jam packed with t-shirts and other Copper Mountain logo wear. Kokomo (Center Village) has the standard Copper Mountain souvenirs as well as some unique Colorado ornaments as a keepsake of your visit to Copper. Rame Jewelry has a range of beautiful pieces plus other accessories and artwork.

Grocery Shopping Copper Mountain

Basic supplies can be bought at the small grocery store in Center Village at McCoy’s Mountain Market. This shop sells non-perishables, various sundries, pharmaceuticals, some frozen and fridge goods, and a tiny amount of fresh produce. There is also a liquor shop.

For a better range of groceries and for better value, head to the Safeway in Frisco.

Silverthorne Shops

Further afield, shopaholics and non-shopaholics alike will want to make the short road trip to the Outlet Stores in Silverthorne. All the major American clothing brands have a store selling their goods at ridiculously low prices. Names include Calvin Klein, Gap, Levis, Columbia, Adidas, Jockey, Nike, Oshkosh, Polo, Ralph Lauren, Van Heusen and Tommy Hilfiger.

Silverthorne also has a wide selection of other retail shops. Very cheap skis and boards are available at a number of shops. Try the ‘Mountain Sports Outlet’ for some real bargains.

Located between Copper and Dillon/Silverthorne is the historic township of Frisco Colorado. The beautiful Main Street to the Rockies is surprisingly, the main thoroughfare. It is a lovely location to spend an afternoon shopping.
