Prali Ski Resort Italy
Prali ski resort is an 'under the radar' freeskiing paradise between Turin & Sestriere that combines awesome tree skiing with affordable prices. Situated at the end of a quiet valley, the ski area has some of the best larch tree skiing glades in Europe, a top lifted point of 2,540m & a skiable vertical of over 1,050m. When it snows deep & low, Prali could be paradise for Powderhounds, and with a daily lift pass price bordering on 'practically free' during the week, why wouldn't we check it out? Cannot believe we haven't been there yet... Oh the shame .... Can't wait to rectify the situation!
Whilst accommodation in the valley near Prali is limited, there are a couple of fantastic options just near the base area. In the adjacent village of Ghigo, Hotel Salei provides exceptional rooms, facilities & food. Just across the river from the chairlift, CasAlpAca B&B offers a more intimate experience, with a similarly exceptional standard of rooms, food & services. Other accommodation includes holiday rental apartments and older style guesthouse rooms in nearby villages like Perrero.
