Silverton Lodging
Lodging for Silverton Mountain can be found in the town of Silverton, 6 miles away. This town is a fabulous step back in time with a history associated with gold and silver mining, the narrow gauge railroad, and working women on the notorious Blair Street.
Silverton is a small town, but in winter it becomes tiny because some of the locals board up their houses and shops and migrate somewhere warm. Party, dining and shopping options are incredibly limited during winter, but on the plus side, Silverton is a fabulous place to get away from the frantic pace found in other ski towns. Another bonus is that the Silverton lodging provides great value for money.
Lodging options range from historic hotels a few inexpensive hotels dotted around town and a couple of bed and breakfasts.
