Palisade Lodging
Palisade is a small town east of Grand Junction, known for its peach orchards and the many wineries. Palisade is a little closer to Powderhorn ski resort (28 miles away) than Grand Junction and staying in Palisade is even more laidback than staying in Grand Junction.
The
Wine Country Inn is the pick of the accommodations because it provides upscale lodging at a vineyard retreat at fantastic value for money. The Wine Country Inn overlooks the vines and Mt Garfield, a large desert style cliff. The hotels rooms are very spacious and well furnished, and the hotel offers lots of amenities. Wine tasting sessions in the afternoon are a highlight, as are the gorgeous appetizers and meals in the restaurant. The Powderhounds highly recommend a stay at the
Wine Country Inn.
