Where is Cupid Valley?
Cupid Valley Ski Resort (Yukidaruma) is located in the Niigata Prefecture just over the border from the Nagano Prefecture. It is situated at the top of the “horse shoe” that Niigata Prefecture does around northern Nagano Prefecture near Nozawa Onsen.
Cupid Valley is near to the Sea of Japan (you can see the water from parts of the ski resort) and the coastal city of Joetsu is only 32km to the northwest.
Driving to Cupid Valley
Driving is the easiest way to get there. The telephone number for GPS navigation is 025-593-2041.
There are no major highways near Yukidaruma and many of the roads into the area are narrow and windy, and slow going if it’s snowy (particularly the roads coming from the south).
Paid parking is available behind the Centre House, otherwise there is free parking about 5 minutes walk from the slopes near the Yukidaruma Onsen.
