Verbier Ski Lessons & Guiding

The off-piste terrain accessible from the ski lifts at Verbier may appear straight forward to first time visitors. But appearances can be deceiving. At Verbier (& to a lesser degree the other 4 Vallées ski areas), the obvious lines can get tracked out very quickly from the hordes of freeriders that descend here on a powder day. Untracked off-piste routes from the Col des Gentianes, off the top of Mont Gele & the backside of Mont Fort, let alone the lesser-known backcountry zones of the resort, can take some time to fully comprehend. And that's without mentioning the Bec Des Rosses. Whilst a guide may not be necessary for some experienced visitors, anyone wanting to quickly get to know the best terrain & ski the freshest lines ahead of the pack will benefit from time early in their trip with a quality local ski instructor and/or mountain guide.

A dizzying number of ski/snowboard instructors, ski schools & mountain guides are fighting for business in Verbier & adjacent 4 Vallees skiing areas. To narrow down the field, use our partners from a listing below.
