Elsewhere, the Sella massif accessed via Val di Fassa’s Sass Pordoi cable car, has numerous truly classic (& some less well known) descents that will test the most hardened backcountry skier or boarder. Beyond the Sella, glacier descents on Marmolada into Passo Fedaia are the next best thing, plus have more reliable snow cover.
