Alta Lodge
Alta Lodge offers a traditional ski lodge experience, with the convenience of a ski-in ski-out location to the Collins Lift at Alta. Alta Lodge is very historic and there are many long running returning guests who enjoy the friendly vibe, good service, the great food and the kids’ club.
Where is Alta Lodge?
Alta Lodge is located at the base of the Alta Ski Area, and just 1 mile from Snowbird.
The lodge is ski-out to the Collins Lift and ski-in via the Lodge Tow. You can get to the Alta ski school via the Transfer Tow, or the free kids club includes transfers to ski school.
Airport shuttles can be organised by the lodge.
Rooms
Room types range from economy double rooms with 2 single beds up to family rooms that sleep up to 5. Whilst reasonably simple, all rooms have ensuite bathrooms, and some rooms offer magnificent mountain views.
All standard rooms have boot dryers / boot heaters and bathrobes. Rooms do not have a TV.
During early season and spring season, kids stay free in their parents' room.
Facilities & Services
Alta Lodge offers a complimentary kids club (ages 4+) which includes shuttles to/from ski school, kids après ski activities, kids’ dinner, and then evening activities.

Dining & Bar
The Sitzmark bar at the Alta Lodge is popular for après ski joviality.
The lodging packages include half board (breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner). Breakfast is comprehensive and the views from the dining room are fantastic.
Dinner is a 4-course affair and guests can enjoy the tradition of group dining or dine at a private table. Full wine and beverage service is offered with dinner.
Afternoon tea is served from 3:30-5:00 pm in the Deck Room.
You also have the option of having lunch at the lodge.
