Ability & Fitness
The area around the Refugio has slopes between 25 and 40 degrees.
This tour requires a medium to high level of physical fitness and skiing ability. Alpine climbing expertise is not necessary, but some experience navigating terrain with crampons and ice axes is strongly recommended.
Equipment
For this tour, you only need the basic backcountry equipment and ice axe and crampons. With advance notice, it is possible to rent all the equipment.

This tour has a person 100% in charge of hosting and customer experience who will be available 24/7 for any unforeseen event or need. The maximum guest to guide ratio is 4. The minimum number of skiers is 3 and the maximum is 6.
