Escape Myoko Guiding

If you want to escape the ordinary, Escape Myoko can guide you around the Myoko resorts and show you the best ski or snowboard lines and powder stashes. The resort private guiding is ideal for first-timers to Myoko who want to get some orientation to the lift-accessed powder zones.

The Myoko resort guiding is for private groups only (ie you can’t join a mixed group) of up to 6 people. The cost is for the group, so it’s the same cost whether there is one person or 6 people in your group.

Choose from a 3 hour morning session, 3 hour afternoon session, or full day (6 hours) of shredding.

Terrain

The terrain focus for the resort guiding is the off-piste zones in amongst the trees, and the lift-accessed backcountry (ie sidecountry) adjacent to the ski areas of Akakura, Suginohara, Ikenotaira or Seki Onsen.

Ability Level

The guiding is ideal for strong intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders. To get the most out of your experience, your group should be of similar ability.

The guides are also ski/snowboard instructors, so if you want some coaching on how to improve your powder skiing or riding skills, they’ll be able to assist.

The minimum age requirement for guiding is 16 years.

Equipment

If you don’t have your own avalanche safety gear (beacon, shovel, probe, backpack), rental of this equipment can be added on for an additional cost. As this is lift-accessed powder guiding, ski touring or splitboarding equipment is not required.
