Kistune Myoko (ie Red Fox Myoko) is a friendly lodge located below the
Ikenotaira Ski Resort. The lodge owners provide extensive hosting services including transport to 8 ski resorts in the region. Kistune Myoko has double rooms & family rooms (up to 5 pp) with private toilet & communal showers.
The lounge area with its combustion wood fire and lounges, is charming and the hub of relaxation & socialisation.
Where is Kitsune Myoko?
Kistune Myoko is located 1.3km from the
Ikenotaira Ski Resort in Myoko. It shouldn’t be confused with the
Red Fox Lodge which is located at the base of the Suginohara Ski Resort.
Lime Resort is located 350m walk from the lodge, where you can have an onsen or go for an upscale café lunch.
It doesn’t matter that the lodge isn’t ski-in ski-out or near lots of restaurants because the owners provide an extensive shuttle service to nearby ski resorts (
Ikenotaira,
Suginohara,
Akakura Kanko & Akakura Onsen). On some days, the hosts will also drive you to their “pick of the day resort” which could include
Seki Onsen,
Madarao and the interconnected
Tangram,
Lotte Arai, or
Kurohime.
Your hosts will also drive you to and from local restaurants in the evening.
Arrival and departure transfers between the Myoko train station and the lodge are provided.

Dining
Breakfast is provided which is usually a simple continental breakfast of cereal, toast, juice, yoghurt, and fruit. Some mornings there may be cooked fare on offer.
The lounge area includes a small bar where you can purchase a beverage, and après ski snacks are provided.
For dinner, you can head to one of the many restaurants in Myoko and your hosts will provide recommendations and drive you to and from restaurants.
For large groups, it’s possible to arrange to have dinner provided at the lodge (with pre-reservation).
