AOSTA VALLEY SKIPASS

SEASONAL SKIPASSES

AOSTA VALLEY : Valid without limitation in any Aosta Valley resort. Ski resorts include: Cervinia, Chamois, Champorcher, Cogne, Courmayeur, Crévacol, La Thuile, Monterosa Ski, Pila, Torgnon.
AOSTA VALLEY + ZERMATT: Valid without limitation in any Aosta Valley resort and the Zermatt ski area (CH).
MULTI DAY CONSECUTIVE PASSES: Named ski passes from 3 to 14 days valid from the beginning to the end of the season, in all Aosta Valley resorts.
MULTI DAY CONSECUTIVE PASSES AOSTA VALLEY + ZERMATT: named ski passes 6,7,13 or 14 days valid from the beginning to the end of the season, in all Aosta Valley resorts and Zermatt resorts.

Conditions of the pass include: All Aosta Valley regional ski passes can be purchased at the ticket office of any ski resort in the Aosta Valley. All ski passes (seasonal or multi-days ski passes) are strictly personal and non transferrable. No ski passes sold can be refunded or replaced by another pass. Any abuse will lead to sanctions under Aosta valley ski pass regulations displayed at all pass purchase points in the Aosta Valley. The effective dates of the start and end of the season are established by each individual ski resort depending on snow conditions and their choice of operating period.

AOSTA VALLEY SEASONAL SKIPASS + ZERMATT

International ski passes purchased at Aosta Valley skiing centres must be used in Aosta Valley by the first access. The first entrances starting from ski lifts in Zermatt are subject to restrictions imposed by the Swiss authorities. Holders of regional season ski passes have 2 entrances per month from Zermatt. Anyone overnighting in Zermatt for more than one day are advised to retain their overnight receipt.
THE GRAN SAN BERNARD TUNNEL
Pass includes free return journey for anyone going to ski in an associated ski resort through the tunnel by showing the outward tunnel ticket plus the validated ski pass to the cashier.

Epic Pass

Vail Resort's Epic Pass is now valid for use on the lifts at numerous ski resorts in the Alps. As Vail Resorts own the lifts at Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis in Switzerland, unlimited use is possible for full pass holders. Other ski areas with varying access include Ski Arlberg (Austria), Skirama Dolomiti (Italy), 4 Vallees (Switzerland), & 3 Vallees (France). For season 24/25, the ski resort of Crans Montana (Switzerland) has been added. Read the details for each ski area below.

3 Vallèes, France

For international guests, holders of an Epic Pass or Epic Australia Pass receive seven complimentary, unrestricted, and consecutive days at the entire Les 3 Vallées ski area, including Courchevel, Les Menuires, Meribel & Val Thorens.

To receive their complimentary pass, Epic Pass holders must go to one of the ticket offices listed with their Epic Pass and ID. Ticket offices are: COURCHEVEL 1850: La Croisette; COURCHEVEL LE PRAZ: Le Praz gondola; BRIDES-LES-BAINS: Olympe gondola; MÉRIBEL CENTRE: La Chaudanne (under the Tougnète gondola); MÉRIBEL MOTTARET: Next to the Tourist Office; LES MENUIRES: La Croisette (under Roc 1 gondola); SAINT-MARTIN-DE-BELLEVILLE: Saint-Martin 1 gondola; VAL THORENS: Forum Joseph Fontanet and Funitel de Péclet; ORELLE: Francoz.

4 Vallees, Switzerland

Epic Pass holders can get 5 consecutive days of lift passes free at 4-Vallees (incl. Verbier & Nendaz-Veysonnaz-Thyon), but it requires each day to have an associated lodging reservation booked directly with the resort. With associated accommodation bookings at a participating resort lodging property, the five complimentary days are consecutive, and allow skiing & riding at all 4 Vallees ski areas - Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Bruson, La Tzoumaz and Thyon.

To redeem lift access, Epic Pass holders must book their lodging directly with the participating property, and they will deliver lift tickets to the Pass Holder upon confirmation of their Epic Pass card.

Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis, Switzerland

From season 22/23, the lifts at Andermatt-Sedrun are owned by Vail Resorts, making the resort accessible for free by holders of the full Epic Pass. There is unlimited, unrestricted access to Andermatt-Sedrun & Disentis, except for the Epic Pass Australia which has 5-days unrestricted access.

To get you free ski pass, one needs to present proof of a valid Epic Pass and valid photo ID at an Andermatt, Sedrun or Disentis ticket window. You will then receive an Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis lift access card that requires a deposit of 5CHF. Deposits will be refunded when the card is returned. You will be issued the requested days for your stay and will be able to purchase additional lift access via a discount lift ticket at 50% off if your total included days are exhausted.

The train that connects Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis, the Matterhorn-Gotthard Bahn, is not included in the Epic Pass. Epic Pass holders can get a train pass for a heavily discounted rate for ASD. To get the discounted rate, train access must be purchased at the time of the lift pass issuance at the ASD ticket window.

Crans Montana, Switzerland

From season 24/25, the lifts at Crans Montana are owned by Vail Resorts, making the resort accessible for free by holders of the full Epic Pass. Details are yet to be finalised, so hold your horses on this one until there is clarity on what one gets.

Ski Arlberg, Austria

Epic Pass, Epic Australia Pass & Vail Resorts Lifetime Pass Holders receive three complimentary days of skiing & riding at Ski Arlberg ski resorts when they stay a minimum of three consecutive nights at a participating Arlberg resort lodging property. Eligible resorts include St Anton (incl. St Christoph & Stuben), Lech, & Zurs.

Epic Pass Holders must book at least three consecutive nights of lodging at a participating resort lodging property to redeem their three complimentary lift tickets. This offer is valid once per season. Lodging must be booked directly with the participating property to qualify for this benefit. Minimum night stay may vary by lodging property. If the property requires more than three nights, guests will still only be eligible for three complimentary tickets. The participating property will deliver lift tickets to the Pass Holder upon confirmation of their Epic Pass card.

Skirama Dolomiti, Italy

The Skirama Dolomiti Ski Region links 8 ski areas including: Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Folgarida-Marilleva, Pontedilegno - Passo Tonale, Pejo3000, Paganella Ski, Monte Bondone, Alpe Cimbra: Folgaria-Lavarone.

Holders of a Vail Resorts Epic Pass (Epic Pass, Epic Adaptive, Epic Australia Pass, Epic Adaptive Australia Pass Holders, & Vail Resorts lifetime Pass Holders) receive seven complimentary, unrestricted, and consecutive days, in total, of skiing and riding at Skirama Dolomiti ski areas. Upon redemption of all seven days, Epic Pass holders can then purchase discounted lift tickets at 50% off the window price. Epic Pass holders must present their valid season pass card and photo ID at any Skirama Dolomiti ticket office where you will be issued a magnetic key card upon validation and receipt of a €5.00 refundable deposit per card. The deposit is refunded when the key card is returned in good condition. We have done this, works fine!

IKON Pass

IKON Pass is valid at a number of ski resorts, for periods of 5 to 7-days at each resort (depending on the type of pass). Ski areas include Andorra, Chamonix (France), Dolomiti Superski (Italy), Kitzski (Austria), and Zermatt (Switzerland). For the 2024/25 season, all of the ski areas at St Moritz's have been added to the list of resorts available to IKON Pass holders.

Andorra

The IKON Pass free ski days in Andorra are shared between the 3 resorts of Ordino Arcalís, Pal Arinsal, and Grandvalira. Depending on the pass one has, there are either 5 or 7 days available. A full Ikon Pass has 7 free days with no blackout periods, and Ikon Base Plus Pass or Ikon Base Pass have 5 free days and no blackout periods. To redeem lift passes go to the ticket window and show your Ikon Pass, Ikon Base Pass or Ikon Session Pass to the local operators.

Chamonix

IKON Pass is valid in most of Chamonix, with days shared between: Grands Montets, Les Houches, Le Tour/Balme, La Flegere and Le Brevent. Holders of an IKON Pass can ski for free for 7-days, with no blackout period.

Holders of Ikon Base Plus Pass and Ikon Base Pass can ski for free for 5-days with no blackout periods. To redeem lift passes, you will need to go to a local ticket window and show your Ikon Pass, Ikon Base Pass, or Ikon Session Pass.

Dolomiti SuperSki

In the Dolomiti SuperSki region, anyone with an IKON Pass can ski up to 7-days shared between: Cortina d’Ampezzo, Kronplatz/Plan de Corones, Alta Badia, Val Gardena/Alpe di Siusi, Val di Fassa/Carezza, Arabba/Marmolada, 3 Peaks Dolomites, Val di Fiemme/Obereggen, San Martino di Castrozza/Rolle Pass, Rio Pusteria - Bressanone, Alpe Lusia - San Pellegrino, and Civetta.

Holders of an Ikon Pass can ski for free for 7-days, with no blackout period. Holders of Ikon Base Plus Pass and Ikon Base Pass can ski for free for 5-days with no blackout periods. You can go directly to the chairlift or gondola with your valid Ikon Pass as there is no need to stop at a local ticket window.

KitzSki - Kitzbühel, Kirchberg and Mittersill

Ikon Pass free ski days include all KitzSki sectors - Kitzbühel, Kirchberg and Mittersill. Full Ikon Pass holders get 7 free days, with no blackouts. Ikon Base Plus Pass and Ikon Base Pass holders get 5 free days, with no blackouts.

Pass holders can go directly to the chairlift or gondola. There is no need to stop at a local ticket window.

St Moritz

New for season 24/25 is free access to the diverse ski areas of St Moritz.. Holders of an IKON Pass can ski for free for 7-days, with no blackout period. Holders of Ikon Base Plus Pass and Ikon Base Pass can ski for free for 5-days with no blackout periods. The ski days are valid only for the winter season at all the regional ski areas including Corvatsch, Corviglia & Diavolezza-Lagalb. Further details are pending.

Zermatt

Aah….. the coveted free access to Zermatt. Holders of an IKON Pass can ski for free for 7-days, with no blackout period. Holders of Ikon Base Plus Pass and Ikon Base Pass can ski for free for 5-days with no blackout periods. The ski days are valid only for the winter season. We were unsure whether the days need to be consecutive, and despite asking them, were unable to get a straight answer as to whether Cervinia is included ........ We later got clarification that for 23/24, it is not!

To redeem lift passes, you will need to go to a local ticket window and show your Ikon Pass, Ikon Base Plus Pass or Ikon Base Pass.

Magic Pass

The Magic Pass is one of the best value season lift passes in the world. It so good that we always get one when the early bird sale is on. The pass is valid in both winter & summer. For for the winter season the pass is valid from October to May to allow for glacier skiing. It is valid in 69 resorts, and over 1,500 km of groomed slopes in the southwest of Switzerland.

Ski Resorts Valid on Magic Pass

Holders of the Magic Pass can ski unlimited days, all season at 69 resorts including alot of ski areas of high interest to powder hunting hounds like us. Included resorts are some of our favorite secret stashes in the Alps, plus a few larger ones. Anzere, Lauchernalp, Ovronnaz, Glacier 3000, Leysin, Sass Fee, Grimentz Zinal, Leukerbad, Arolla-Evolene, St Luc-Chandolin, Vercorin & Villars Gryon Diablerets to name just a few.

For an additional tariff, up to 100 days of skiing at Crans Montana can also be included (but we reckon its not worth it!).

There is no need to go to a ticket window to use your Magic Pass, just head straight to the ski lifts with your pass ready to go.

Mountain Collective

The Mountain Collective pass allows access to a few days in the ski resorts of the Chamonix valley.

Chamonix Valley

Holders of the Mountain Collective Pass can redeem a total of 2 free days at Chamonix ski areas with no blackout periods. Additional days can be redeemed for half price.

Mountain Collective pass holders will receive a ‘Mont-Blanc Unlimited’ pass, which allows access to all of the following Chamonix Valley resorts & transport: Grands-Montets, Flégère-Brévent, Les Houches, Montenvers Train, Aiguille du Midi, Tramway du Mont Blanc. The conditions make no mention of Balme Tour Vallorcine, but we expect that it would be valid there, simply on the basis that the pass is redeemed by getting a Mont Blanc Unlimited pass.

To redeem your day passes at Chamonix, bring your printed voucher/confirmation of your Mountain Collective Pass purchase. Redeem at Central Cash Desk, 35 Place de la Mer de Glace, Chamonix.

Snow Card Tirol

The Snow Card Tirol season pass includes unbelievable access to over 90 ski areas in the Austrian Tirol & East Tirol. Resorts include most Tirolean ski areas EXCEPT Ski Arlberg (St Anton et al) and perhaps a few others that are neither here nor there.

Over 4,000km of trails are available on this pass across a season running from October to May and including all the major glacier ski areas! The Tirolean glaciers include almost 300km of pistes at Hintertux, Kaunertal, Pitztal, Sölden, and Stubai. Other major ski resorts included in the Snow Card Tirol are Gurgl, Ischgl, Mayrhofen, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, SkiWelt, & Zillertal Arena, plus all the Innsbruck ski areas. Smaller secret stashes (i.e. the Powderhounds favourites) included in the pass are Kappl, Nauders, Schlick, and See (to name a few).

SUPERSKICARD

The SuperskiCard is centred on Salzburg, but includes skiing across a huge part of Austria in the Tyrol, Salzburgerland, Styria and Carinthia. The pass includes 86 ski resorts with a total of 2,780km of pistes. A massive variety of terrain from glaciers to forests and valleys are available on the SuperSkiCard. With a season validity from October (glacier resorts) until the sunny finale in May, riding all of the 934 state-of-the-art cable cars and lifts available in a single winter would be a worthy challenge.

Resorts included on the pass include: Alpbachtal Wildschoenau, Ankogel, Dachstein West (Gosau, Krippenstein etc), Gastein ski region, Hochkoenig ski region, Kaprun-Kitzsteinhorn, Kitzski (Kitzbuehel-Kirchberg-Mittersill), Moelltal Glacier, Obertauern, Schladming ski region, Schneebären ski region (Tauplitz, Loser et al), SkiCircus Saalbach, Ski Lungau (Großeck-Speiereck, Katschberg et al), Snow Space Salzburg, Weißsee, Wildkogel, Zell am See, SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, Zauchensee, Zillertal Arena, plus a host of smaller areas ….. phew ……. amazing!

Top4 Ski Pass

The Top4 Ski Pass is valid for over 666km of (devilish!) slopes in the Swiss Alps resorts of Adelboden-Lenk, Gstaad, Jungfrau Ski Region and Meiringen-Hasliberg.
