Panorama Restaurants
There is a small selection of Panorama restaurants, with the main emphasis being on pub grub.
Cliffhanger Restaurant at the Grey Wolf Golf Club is a steakhouse that also serves other upscale fare. The restaurant offers lovely views during the day of the Purcell Mountains.
For a novel dining experience for your group, try dinner at the rustic Elkhorn Cabin. Catch the last chair lift ride up on Champagne, then feast on cheese and meat raclette, and then get transported back down to the village in a snowcat.
Summit Hut fondue combined with a helicopter ride is another dinner experience, and Mile One Hut fondue is also available on Saturday nights.
In addition to the small selection of Panorama restaurants in the resort village, there are dining options in Invermere. Those without a car can catch the valley shuttle bus.
Panorama Bars & Nightlife
Panorama ski resort isn’t just about families. There seems to be an array of young folks as well and nightlife to keep them partially satisfied. This isn’t Whistler, but at least there is a small degree of evening action at a handful of pubs.
The T-bar and Grill in the Pine Inn opens noon until 1am. This is a happening place for the young and young at heart with cheap meals, music and plenty of atmosphere. Menu items include nachos, burgers, steaks and other indigestion inducing menu items such as meatloaf surrounded by bacon.
Another pub with good atmosphere is the Jackpine Pub in the lower village (open from 5pm-1am).
