Small Group Semi-Private Heli Ski Packages

Experience world-class heli-skiing in Canada’s South Chilcotin mountains. Tyax Heliskiing offers nearly one million acres of terrain, over 375 mapped runs & abundant dry snow. The heli skiing is based at the Tyax Wilderness Resort & Spa, where you will experience fine-dining, a fire-side lounge, fully equipped spa & refined accommodation.

The 7-night small group semi-private heli ski packages are ideal for those who want to maximise their vertical with their own group of buddies.

The helicopters used for this package carry up to 6 guests and 2 guides and your group gets its own private helicopter each day.

The package includes UNLIMITED VERTICAL heli skiing, guiding, deluxe accommodation, return transfers from Vancouver or Whistler, gourmet meals, use of avalanche safety gear (including ABS backpack), and use of powder skis and poles.

Tyax Heli Skiing has the great combination of ease of access from Vancouver or Whistler, and also being located out in the wilderness where you can completely get away from it all.

There are major benefits to the offer of unlimited vertical. Unlike some other Canada heli skiing companies where you get charged for additional vertical skied, unlimited vertical at Tyax improves the group cohesion because no one will be left out when they reach their vertical budget. At Tyax you know how much the vacation costs and you can relax and enjoy all the powder turns, rather than worrying about how much each turn costs. And more powder turns equals more powder happiness!

If you have any questions you can make a booking request.

Here is a short video of what you can expect on a Tyax Heliskiing package....

The Program

The travel from Vancouver is the beginning of your adventure; a scenic land transfer up the famous Sea to Sky Corridor through Whistler to Pemberton, and either a land or air transfer into Tyax Wilderness Resort & Spa, home of Tyax Heliskiing. Or skip the landscapes by road and fly directly from Vancouver. The Tyax team will be waiting to greet you and bring you into the lodge.

After a brief safety orientation and some essential paperwork you will have the evening to settle into the lodge and make use of the amenities, including the spa, before your first gourmet dinner is served.

Heli-skiing starts first thing the next morning after a hearty breakfast and stretch class. Lunch is served in the mountains and each day after skiing, après ski is served in the lounge and bar. Enjoy massage treatments and body work, or some relaxation in the Jacuzzi, infrared sauna, wood sauna, or eucalyptus steam room.

On the final day of skiing, guests will return to the lodge at lunchtime and prepare for their departure. Air transfers depart from the lodge back to Pemberton, followed by a land transfer to Vancouver. 3 day packages depart from the lodge by land back to Vancouver after a full day of skiing.

Potential Add-On
Because of the proximity to Whistler Blackcomb ski resort, it is very easy to add on a few days prior to your Tyax Heliskiing Package. This is a great way to warm up the legs ready for the deep powder in the backcountry. Tyax can package this for you or you can arrange this yourself here>>
