White Grizzly Multi-Day Cat Skiing Packages

White Grizzly offers multi-day packages that include the guided cat skiing, accommodation (based on twin or triple share), safety equipment, and all meals. You can BYO alcohol, and fat skis or freeride snowboards are available for rent. Massages are also on offer if you need any kinks ironed out.

The cat skiing trips are primarily for 3 or 4 days (or you can link these together for a week long stay), however there are also a couple 2 day programs in early and late season.

Accommodation is provided at the the White Grizzly lodge which has 5 bedrooms (with ensuite) that sleeps a maximum of 12 guests. The rooms have a variety of configurations.

The communal area has a fireplace where you can lounge about and chew the fat about the amazing powder. Alternatively you can relive stories of the great day in the outdoor hot tub. You definitely won’t go hungry after ripping up all that powder. Appetizers are available during après-ski, whilst other meals consist of a feast with a French Canadian twist.

White Grizzly Lodge

The beautifully hand crafted log house is located right near the little town of Meadow Creek, yet it feels like you’re way out in the wilderness and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The rustic lodge provides a very relaxed environment in which to enjoy your après-ski chill out time.

Getting To the White Grizzly LodgeYou’ll need to fly into Spokane, Castlegar, or Kelowna Airport and then rent a car to drive yourself to Meadow Creek. The White Grizzly lodge is easily accessible via road so you don’t need a snowcat, helicopter or snowmobile to get there.

If you are coming via Kelowna and Revelstoke, there are two route options, both that involve catching the Upper Arrow Lakes Ferry. The “quicker” route is via Trout Lake. It’s only recommended for those with lots of mountain driving experience. The easier option is to drive via Nakusp.

Whichever way you arrive at Meadow Creek during the daytime, the drive will be incredibly picturesque.

A beautifully handcrafted lodge

Twin, double & triple rooms

Private en suites to all rooms

Rooms The lodge has 5 bedrooms that have a variety of bed configurations, with extra long single, double and queen sized beds that provide double, twin or triple accommodation. All rooms have an ensuite bathroom.

The rooms have simple décor, which is all that’s required because the log beams are the main event. The beds are super comfortable so you’re sure to sleep like a hibernating white grizzly bear!

Facilities and Services The lodge has two main common areas. The cosy lounge room is the epicentre of social activity where guests relax on leather sofas and chairs around the fireplace. Next door is the dining room with one large table which is great for family style meals. Facilities and services of the lodge include:
  • Outdoor hot tub to soak the weary muscles
  • Data projector for slide shows and video sessions •
  • Sound system
  • Massages available
  • Fluffy bathrobes
  • Drying room with boot dryers
  • Internet access
  • Foosball table
  • Retail area with several White Grizzly souvenirs and ski/snowboard accessories
Meals The meals at the lodge are fabulous, very innovative, and you’ll never go hungry. A hot breakfast is served along with a range of continental items, coffee and tea. Dinner is also held in the dining room, and consists of a hearty feast that generally has a French Canadian influence.

After burning up lots of energy in the powder, chances are that you’ll be starving when you get home. You’ll be greeted with après-ski appetizers that can be accompanied by your BYO drinks.

What Stands Out About the Lodge The vibe of the lodge is a highlight; laid-back, friendly and charming. The food is a stand-out feature, as is the hot tub, the reclining chairs in the lounge room, and the very comfortable beds. It’s delightfully homely.

Very cozy & social atmosphere

Plenty of great food on offer

Meal-time is a highlight
