The Powderhounds stayed in one of the studios, so we can personally recommend this form of accommodation.

The first thing that stuck us about the studio was the fabulously huge bed that was blissfully comfortable. The bathroom was large and the shower was big enough to dance in (if you so desire!).

Even though the term “studio” is used these are more aptly described as a hotel room because there wasn’t really a kitchenette but just a bar fridge, kettle, toaster and a little bit of crockery which is what you’d expect of a hotel room. Nevertheless, with breakfast included and some great Methven dining options, we didn’t really need the kitchen amenities so all in all it was a great accommodation option.
