Totally Wacky, Exceptional Value & Perfect for Families

22/05/2015
Overall the hotel is totally wacky with weird paraphernalia and a touch of Disney Land built in. If you can live with this uniqueness, this is an absolutely fabulous place to stay. It’s particularly great for families (probably better than anything you will find in Niseko - certainly for the price). The amenities contained within the large hotel are impressive, and the easy access to the slopes on West Mountain is a major plus (it takes a little while to get across to East Mountain).

SERVICE - the staff were helpful and courteous. There were many staff that didn’t speak English but this was never really a problem because there were enough that did. This is a massive hotel with lots of services such as restaurants and bars and it seemed like a well oiled machine, although possibly due to the sheer size of the hotel, it just felt rather impersonal.

ROOMS - the hotel room was of a great size for two people and the amenities were adequate. The room was a little dated but this wouldn’t deter me from coming back. The rooms and the entire hotel were very clean.

MEALS – the breakfast buffet provided a massive choice of quality food, but I can’t be trusted at a buffet! The dinner meals were great but perhaps a little expensive. I’d recommend not getting dinner included in your package because the dinner voucher system is a bit limiting and so that you can also sample the non-hotel izakayas and restaurants.

NIGHTLIFE - well there really isn't any. There is a bar but it is not open during apres ski time and there is a cocktail lounge that you have to pay an entry fee (which is always empty for that reason). This is Japan!!
