Adored Tbilisi. The food, the views, the rooms, the architecture, the bars, the booze, the dogs, the cats, the chaos, the shopping, the street art, the history, the sulphur baths, the walking. Just a fascinating, tourist friendly city. And beautiful in its own shabby-chic way.
No Georgian trip is complete without spending a few nights in the centre of this complex part of the world.
Just remember that the dogs rule the lower city, and the cats rule the upper city and you'll be fine!
Tbilisi airport provides a great way to enter or exit the country, however, try not to buy food there as prices are ridiculous and make Switzerland look cheap.

Tbilisi is an oasis in what can be a confusing country. Beautiful historic buildings, sulfur baths, an array of monuments, complex street art, diverse food and drink, shopping (including incredible local creations), combine with the sometimes extraordinary day-to-day lifestyles of all that call it home.
Recommend spending several days and nights in Tbilisi, this might just scratch the surface, but it's worth it.
