Central Cordillera Heli Skiing Overview

The Central Cordillera packages are made up of a selection of some of the best heli skiing spots, with the best heliskiing terrain in Chile (and the world for that matter!). 

There are several base options that include staying in a 5-star hotel in downtown Santiago, toughing it out in a remote Chilean lodge & spa in the heart of the Andes, soaking up the Chilean culture staying in a mountain lodge at Farellones (where you have easy access to the Tres Valles ski areas), doing it in style at Valle Nevado's top hotel, or staying at the Puma Lodge high up in the Andes.

Whilst these packages are predominantly for private groups of 4 or 8 guests, you can inquire about this package as a solo skier/boarder or small group. Andes Heliboarding will try to group you with other skiers & boarders to make up groups of 4 or 8.

Terrain & Ability Andes Heliboarding has access to such a huge tenure of terrain. There is something suitable for everyone from strong intermediate skiers & boarders and above. The terrain you access will ultimately be dependent on the group's ability.

Typical Itinerary

There is no set itinerary for these packages. If you choose a 7 night / 6 day heli skiing package your guides will take you to the best terrain with the best conditions each day.

If you are on a 7 night / 3 day heli skiing package, you would normally start your 3 consecutive days of heli skiing from day one finishing up the remaining days with some resort skiing and/or well-earned pampering at the day spa!

On a typical day, you can expect from 6 - 14 runs of varying vertical with an average vertical of 10,000 metres per day.

Santiago Urban Heliski Program
Choose from several 5-star hotels located in the heart of Santiago; W Hotel, Noi, Ritz Carlton or Hyatt. Access the heli each day from the 55th floor of the Titanium Hotel and be skiing areas like The Plomo & Tupungato 10 mins later. After riding you can take advantage of all of the great things on offer in Santiago.

Farellones Mountain Village Program
Staying in a Chilean mountain lodge (Casa Farellones) in the Farellones village just 5 mins away from the ski resorts of El Colorado & La Parva. Helipad is just 50m from the lodge. 8 rooms with private b/room and shared outdoor hot tub.

Lodge El Ingenio Spa & Nature Program
A beautiful Chilean lodge in the heart of the Andes Cordillera. Located just 65km from Santiago with a capacity of 18 people. Facilities include spa, outdoor jacuzzi & pool, sat TV, internet, games room. There is also a gastronomic restaurant located next door to the lodge. Flight-time to your first run is just 5 mins from the lodge & you can end the day soaking in hot springs.

Puma Lodge Program
Located on a nature reserve in the south of Santiago (35 mins flight-time or 3 hours by road). The 5,500 sqm lodge has 24 comfortable and private rooms. Facilities include a gym, climbing wall, library, wine cellar, hot tub and outdoor swimming pool. Puma Lodge heli ski terrain offers endless delights of virgin mountain terrain with vertical descents of 1,200 to 1,300 metres per run.
