Ski Aspen - 15 Night Packages

The philosophy of Ski Aspen revolves around guest service, guest experience and affordability. And despite its 23 years experience in this iconic ski town, Ski Aspen are continually refining the form and function of their tours and the service they provide to you. They accomplish this by ensuring they go above and beyond your expectations. Your wants and needs are their highest priority and this is reflected in every facet of their tours.

Ski Aspen is a service company not a tour operator. They provide an all-inclusive 16 day program. During this time they operate a 10-day fully guided and instructional on-snow program. Their staff are on hand 24 hours a day and have a guide to skier ratio of 1:6. While personalised group skiing is their core product, their tours are renowned for much more.

A holiday with Ski Aspen combines many elements – incomparable snow conditions with a huge range of activities both on and off snow. The town provides great cuisine, culture, environment and sport. They add the finishing touches to improve your skiing, foster camaraderie and create lasting memories. Spend your après ski time at one of the many bars or relax and rejuvenate in a therapeutic spa, maybe even The Aspen Club. Add to this the perfectly located accommodation, regular après activities, and the best skiing conditions on the planet.

Founded in 1995, Ski Aspen now enjoys a guest return rate of around 60% each year.

Ski some of this...

Hang out with new friends....

Let your hair down (or something!)

Who Are The Tours Suitable For?

The Aspen Ski Tours are suitable for singles, couples and groups and are an all-inclusive package that run over two weeks. During this time guests will participate in a 10 day fully guided and instructional on-snow program and on these days will ski in small groups with their guide/instructor for five hours each day. Lots of miles being the main focus with instruction included along the way. Video analysis sessions are also very popular with guests.

For couples, it doesn’t matter if you and your partner ski at different standards - the great thing about this program is that guests are divided into groups based on speed, ability and daring. And with a total of four additional free days included in each tour, couples and friends still get plenty of time to ski with each other.

The Ski Aspen Tour is a very social experience with a host of après activities included in the package. These tours are as much about meeting new ski friends as they are about skiing and riding the incredible four mountains that make up Aspen Snowmass.

Sample Itinerary

It’s possible that the daily schedule may vary slightly between each 15 night package, but each will always have the same amount of on-snow days, free days and après events....

Day 1: Arrival Day
Welcome to Aspen. No matter what time your flight lands, your in-resort hosts will be at the airport to meet and greet you. You’ll then be transferred in Ski Aspen's private cars to your accommodation. This day is designed to be easy going after your long journey to get to Aspen. Take the time to relax and settle into your accommodation.

Day 2: Welcome & Orientation
Ski Aspen (SA) start today by getting all guests together for a meet and greet. You’ll receive your lift pass and learn more about the days to come. This is also the time to get any rental equipment or have your own gear checked by the team at Aspen Sports. In the afternoon SA offer an optional ‘find your ski legs’ warm up. This is a gentle warm up on Aspen Mountain for anyone interested in making a few turns. From 7pm enjoy a welcome party hosted by Aspen Sports in their main store. Free beer, wine and food is combined with expert advice and exclusive deals for Ski Aspen guests.

Day 3: The on-snow program begins – Skiing Buttermilk
Your in-resort hosts will take you to the base of Buttermilk where you meet their team of instructors/guides. You’ll spend the day skiing Buttermilk, getting properly warmed up and prepared for the big days ahead. SA on-snow groups are very flexible. Initially divided by ability, speed and daringness – you’ll have the opportunity to swap groups on a daily basis to push yourself or take it easy. Group sizes are capped at 6 guests per instructor. Lunch is at The Cliffhouse restaurant where the Mongolian Grill is a favourite. After skiing, return home and prepare for another welcome party – this time courtesy of Frias Properties of Aspen. Food and drinks are supplied and it’s another great opportunity to get to know the group.

Day 4: Skiing Aspen Highlands
Today you’ll head to the base of Aspen Highlands to meet your instructors/guides. Be challenged on this fantastic mountain – the locals favourite – then take a well-earned break for lunch at the Merry-Go-Round restaurant. You’ll finish the ski day with our traditional après event hosted by the Ski Aspen team at the base of the mountain – food and drinks supplied.

Day 5: Skiing Aspen Mountain
Nicknamed Ajax, you’ll meet your instructors/guides at the base of the Silver Queen Gondola. Grab a free coffee for the ride up and take in the views. Explore all that Ajax has to offer and meet for lunch at Sundeck restaurant. If there’s time in the afternoon, a pit stop at Bonnies is a must for the very special desserts. Tonight is a free evening with no planned après events. But as you’re skiing on Ajax, you’ll no doubt join the SA team when you finish skiing in one (or maybe two) of the best après venues in town! Ajax Tavern, The Little Nell and Sky Bar are all on your way home!

Day 6: Free day
Today is a day for you. Take a day off-snow and explore the town, go shopping, or visit one or more of the cafes, restaurants or bars. If you’d prefer to ski, choose your mountain and away you go. Often guests will get together on the free days to ski or enjoy the town. There are always suitable options whatever you decide.

Day 7: Skiing Snowmass
Today you’ll meet your instructors/guides on-snow at the end of the Snowmass Mall. This mountain is big. So big you could fit all three of Aspen’s other mountains into it. Not surprisingly then, today is a solid day of exploring. Generally you’ll start skiing on the Elk Camp side of Snowmass then slowly work your way across. By the time you reach the other side, it’s lunchtime – and where better to eat than Sam’s Smokehouse? The staff here even save us tables so Ski Aspen guests will never need to hunt for seats. Our ski day finishes back at the Snowmass Mall where we enjoy another great après event – this time hosted by the Aspen Skiing Company. Food and drinks are provided courtesy of Aspen Ski Co to say thanks for choosing Aspen.

Day 8: Skiing Aspen Highlands
Today you’ll re-visit Aspen Highlands and take on the terrain that you missed out on last time. And today is the day for those who want to hike the famous Highland Bowl. Take the Lodge Peak chairlift, then the snowcat as high as it’ll go. Then it’s time for a 30-40 minute hike to the summit of Highland Peak. This experience is one not to miss because what goes up must come down… and it’s a long way down! The skiing from the top of the Highland Bowl is stuff of legend.

Tonight is another free evening. By now, many of the SA guests will be socialising together outside of the organised après events. So enjoy a night out with others or maybe a quiet night at home – the choice is yours.

Day 9: Skiing Snowmass
Today you’re back at Snowmass and will be trying to ski all the terrain you didn’t get to visit last time. Take on “Long Shot” for a mid morning adventure or challenge yourself a little more with “Powderhorn”. Lunch today is at Elk Camp. At the end of the ski day, the Aspen Ski School will be ready to host one final après party. Yep you guessed it, food and drinks supplied!

Day 10: Skiing Aspen Mountain
Back on Ajax and and you’ve got the routine dialled. Free coffee when meeting the team at the gondola and up you go. Lunch is again at the Sundeck restaurant and yep, apres on the way home is too hard to pass up – it’s Aspen after all (and you have two days off in a row).

Day 11: Free Day
Welcome to your weekend. Today take it easy and treat yourself to a wander around town or get back up there and take on your favourite mountain. Nothing officially planned for tonight.

Day 12: Free Day
Your second day off and you’ll be feeling good. If you skied yesterday, take today off. If you took yesterday off, go for a little ski. SA advise at least one full rest day during this two day block. You’ve got a big 3 days coming up!

Day 13: Skiing Snowmass

It’s the final Snowmass ski day. Meet the team as usual on-snow at the Mall and have lunch at Sam’s Smokehouse. Finish the day by skiing your favourite snows runs.

Day 14: Skiing Aspen Mountain

A final day of riding the gondola and taking on all the glades, steeps or groomers that Ajax offers. One last lunch at the Sundeck with the incredible views overlooking the Highlands Bowl. No offical après event this afternoon but there is always an event on as you finish your ski day on Ajax.

Day 15: Skiing Highlands
Meet the team at the base of Highlands and decide – One last hike up the bowl? Or do you want to challenge yourself in Deep Temerity? Or as it’s the last day, does taking it easy and winding down with some top to bottom runs on the never ending groomers sound good? The choice is yours. We’ll have a final night dinner arranged in a private venue to celebrate with everyone from your trip.

Day 16: Departure Day
Check-out time is 10am. Your transfer to the airport will arrive promptly as this will have been pre-arranged. If you’re on a later flight we’ll help you store your bags until you’re ready to leave. Sadly, your Aspen adventure for this season has come to an end – unless you decide to stay on… just saying.
